“We would never have been able to build our 'dream log home' without the assistance of the Patlins and their team.

Prior to our decision to build, Steve walked various sites with us and helped determine the perfect lakefront setting for our house. Nikki held our hand through the design process and helped us visualize all of the factors which led to our decisions. Leslie helped us with our budget planning and gave us direction as to where our dollars would be best spent.

The entire Patlin team was responsive to our phone calls and e-mails in the most reassuring manner. They were always there to brainstorm with us in times when we otherwise would have overreacted to manageable problems.

Tim was always available to answer construction questions and give us his expert advice regarding the quality of the work.

"Leslie & Steve, Our journey together began May 19, 2004. Bald Mountain Rd, Leyden Road, and Barton Road, (just to mention a few pieces of property over the past few years. There have been many pieces of property looked at, walked, and a couple have had perc test. There have been many heartaches, and many, many ups and downs over the past three years. I will say for now we come to rest at 29 Fargo Drive. (At least for a bit). In most likely a little less than a month, I will be “home” I sincerely thank you for your moral support and for being there through the good times and bad times during this journey.

Ms. Nikki, How many ways can a bathroom be redesigned??? I think your answer would be… Just as many as the “customer” needs. I sincerely thank you for your patience and I can appreciate your level of knowledge and expertise.

Mr. Tim, I thank you for your never ending patience with me and I sincerely appreciate your knowledge. What you have learned and are still learning from the BUG regarding property and the business is invaluable. I do not recall when you actually came into the picture, but I do know of at least 3 or 4 pieces of property you have walked, evaluated, and have been to.

Ms. Noreen, I thank you for your pleasant voice answering the business phone, recognizing my voice, and offering me your shoulder or body to vent at. I think you may be the only one in the place who has not been to my house as yet… so you will have to come for coffee after I move in… Your role with Patlin Enterprises is important.

THROUGHOUT - I SINCERELY APPRECIATE EVERYONE'S ASSISTANCE ALL ALONG THE WAY AND I AM HOME NOW AND ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT...........When the BANK had an appraiser do the appraisal prior to my construction loan, the appraisal came in $40k MORE than the project cost. I would definitely consider going with Patlin Enterprises again if I were in a situation to build another home............All of the contractors were very good in their field and customer oriented."

We were very nervous to build our own home and be our own GC, but we knew it would save us a lot of money (and we were right!)

You and your staff have been more than helpful. Whenever we felt stressed or confused you guys were always there to answer any questions we had. Someone was always there to help or returned our call a.s.a.p and you were all always willing to meet with us to go over any changes we had. Being our own GC was stressful at times but is was so much easier knowing you were only a phone call away to get us back on track.

“Roger and I had spent a lot of time for years on investigating log home companies, log home systems, and types of wood to use in log homes and there are several reasons we settled on your company. It all comes down to the simple fact that your company offers so much support in every area, starting from the types of logs, the site, to the contractors.

We used one of the contractors that you had suggested, and to this day refer him to anyone who wants to build, he was that good, but to our surprise your own company contractor came out to check to see if our home was started correctly, and who we all could trouble shoot with. Any materials that were wrong or damaged were replaced immediately. Any time we called and asked for advise in obtaining materials, prices on contractors, we received an immediate accurate answer. And I am not even mentioning that we used a plan that you yourself designed and changed very little.

We are probably the only first time builders that after the project was completed, have not said If we had to do it over again we would change this and that. We don't need to do it over again, as we wouldn't change one thing about this home. And your family is the sole reason for this.

I have referred your company to several people and told them that you make the whole process idiot proof. You can't buy that kind of insurance and don't need to. We stayed on budget from start to finish and the end result is, we have people drive by all the time to see our home, which took some getting used.

Lincoln logs and the Patlins made our dream come true with very little problem and the perfect end result. Could anyone ask for more? Yes! In the next couple of years we will be back to have you design and build a matching garage."
